Data deletion instructions
Last updated: 6 November 2026.
Short version. Prompt & Ship Publisher stores no data about other users. It runs only on the owner's own YouTube channel and the owner's own Instagram professional account. If you still want a check or a deletion, email damienyvert.dev@gmail.com with your username and you will get an answer within 30 days.
What is stored, and what is not
Prompt & Ship Publisher is a private tool used by Damien Yvert to publish the channel's videos and to read back how they performed. It has no sign up, no accounts and no users other than the owner.
- No profile is created about you. The application does not store your name, your email address, your account identifier, your viewing history or any contact detail.
- The statistics it reads are aggregated. Views, watch time, retention, reach and follower counts are totals computed by YouTube and Instagram for the owner's own accounts. They do not identify individual viewers.
- Public comments are read in aggregate only, to count engagement and to see which questions keep coming up. Any working copy is deleted within 30 days, and deleting your comment on the platform removes it from the application's reach as well.
- The website itself stores nothing. No cookies, no analytics, no forms. See the privacy policy.
So in almost every case there is simply nothing to delete. The procedure below exists so that you can verify that for yourself rather than take it on trust.
How to request a check or a deletion
-
Send an email to damienyvert.dev@gmail.com with
the subject line
Data deletion request. - Include the username or handle you use on YouTube or on Instagram, so that a search can be run. If your request is about a specific comment, add a link to the video or post.
- Say what you want: a check of whether anything is held about you, a copy of it, or its deletion.
What happens then:
- The request is acknowledged, and answered within 30 days at the latest.
- Any record matching your username is deleted from the application's database, and you are told what was found and what was removed. If nothing was found, you are told that, which is the usual outcome.
- No proof of identity is asked for beyond what is needed to locate the data, and nothing is charged.
- Requests are never used to contact you for anything else, and the email is deleted once the matter is closed.
Data held by YouTube, Instagram and Meta
Your account, your comments and the data those platforms hold about you are controlled by them, not by Damien Yvert. A request to delete your own account data has to go to the platform directly:
- Google and YouTube: myactivity.google.com and the Google Privacy Policy.
- Instagram and Meta: privacycenter.instagram.com.
- A comment you left can be deleted by you at any time, directly on the video or post.
How to remove the application's access from your account
Prompt & Ship Publisher is only ever authorised on the owner's own accounts, so in normal circumstances it will not appear in your own list of connected apps. If it ever does, remove it like this:
- Open the Instagram app and go to Settings.
- Open Website permissions, then Apps and websites.
- Select the application under Active, then choose Remove.
Meta business portfolio
- Go to business.facebook.com/settings.
- Open Business settings, then Apps or Integrations.
- Select the application and remove its access.
Google and YouTube
- Go to https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions.
- Select the application in Your connections to third party apps and services.
- Choose Remove access.
Revoking access takes effect immediately and stops the application from reading or writing anything on that account.
Your other rights
Besides deletion you can ask for access, rectification, restriction, objection and portability under the GDPR, and you can complain to the Portuguese supervisory authority, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados, at cnpd.pt. The details are in the privacy policy.
